KETAMINE THERAPY
Individual and Group Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP)- for those located in the greater San Diego, CA area only.
What are the steps for Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy?
Partnering with Journey Clinical, I am able to offer Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) sessions, including therapeutic intake, dosing and integration.
Step 1: Book a medical appointment withJourney Clinical. Journey will review your physical and mental health history and will approve or deny you for Ketamine treatment.
Step 2: Upon medical approval, we will have between 1-3 Intake sessions to build our therapeutic relationship, discuss your expectations and goals as well as explore what would help you feel most comfortable during the dosing session.
Step 3: We will hold our first dosing session. Depending on your needs, 6-8 dosing sessions are recommended. You will be required by Journey Clinical to have a medical follow-up after your second dosing session. The goals and treatment needs completed in therapeutic intake will be implemented during these sessions.
Step 4: In between each dosing session you will have an integration session. The integration session will take place within 24-72 hours of your dosing session. This is the time when the brain is the most receptive to new ideas and insights. In this session, I offer Brainspotting Integration, Somatic Mindfulness or more classic talk therapy — it really depends on your preference.
Step 5: Once you have had 6-8 KAP sessions, it is possible you will be approved by Journey Clinical for less frequent maintenance sessions moving forward, if needed. I am available to continue with regular psychotherapy sessions and/or Brainspotting Intensive sessions.

What kind of payments do you accept for this service?
I am able to accept certain insurances through Journey Clinical. You can check Journey Clinical’s FAQ for payment information here.
If you insurance is not one of the listed on Journey’s page, there are a couple of payment options.
1, Private Cash Pay
2. Out Of Network Billing - you will pay up front for treatment and I will provide you with a superbill that you then submit to your insurance for reimbursement. It is important that you check your benefits for Out of Network Billing as not all insurance plans will reimburse for this. See the guide for OON Billing here.
